This law was passed by the Maryland Colonial Assembly on October 26, 1723, and provided free primary education to citizens of colonial America.
Visitors can view a variety of birds at the bird club’s monthly meetings. The society also hosts lectures and several field trips throughout the year. The club also welcomes birders from surrounding counties. Members can learn about bird behavior, identification, and conservation projects. Currently, the club is raising money to build a nesting tower for Chimney Swifts in Kinder Farm Park.
